Fudge

This ultra-sweet confection is thought to have been created by accident in America in the late 1900s. The polite expletive “Oh fudge!” pre-dates the candy and it is thought to have been the cry of a modest candy maker who ruined a batch of caramels and unwittingly created a delicious snack.
