Fig & Hazelnut Tart

I love cooking with black Turkish figs; they are the sweetest variety and have the best flavour. They are only in season from late August through to October. Here figs complement the richness of the hazelnuts and the Scottish heather honey. Delicious served on its own or accompanied with Crème Anglaise.
