Serve this hot sauce smeared on a thick, juicy steak or pork chop - it’s just marvellous.

Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon pickled ginger
  • 1 teaspoon

Method

  1. Put the garlic, ginger, sesame seeds and wasabi paste in a mortar and crush to a fine paste with a pestle.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the mustard.
  3. Add the mirin and soy sauce and mix well.
