The original green goddess dressing recipe uses sour cream and mayo as a base. Here we’ve substituted our favorite creamy superfood: the avocado. This highly flavored, herbaceous dressing can turn a basic garden salad into a showstopper. It may seem a little strange to put anchovies into a salad dressing, but think of Caesar dressing. Instead of tasting fishy, the anchovy simply adds an undertone of savoriness.
