Jacq: Of all of the recipes in this book, this one took me the longest to perfect. I was tweaking it for years and was only satisfied when I saw my most carnivorous friend hold back tears one Fourth of July when he found out that the burgers had run out. Yep, they’re that good. They take a while to make, but freeze beautifully. Now I always make a double batch and freeze any leftovers.
