This recipe is based on my dad’s crumb recipe. It adds a nutty sweetness and crunchy texture that complements any fruit filling, although I’m partial to pairing it with Sour Cherry or Wild Blueberry. To make it vegan, use coconut oil instead of butter, and to make it gluten-free, substitute the all-purpose flour for gluten-free oat flour.
