Stone Fruit and Berry Pies

Many varieties of stone fruit and berries tend to come into season at the same time. When you put them together in a pie, they offer an intriguing contrast of flavors, textures, and colors. These pies can be made with any kind of crust and/or crumb topping, so there are dozens of variations available to you. See page 104 for my favorite combinations.
