  • About

Chocolate fudge is a classic sundae component, and it also goes nicely with a wide range of pies. Try it on any nut or custard pie, or even cherry pie or cheesecake.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup (180 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Method

In a small saucepan, combine the cream, butter, brown sugar, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the butter has completely melted, then allow to simmer for about 1 minute.

Remove from the heat and stir in the chopped chocolate until melted. Whisk in the cocoa until fully incorporated.

Return the pan to low heat. Whisk until the sauce is completely smooth
