Using maple syrup in place of regular sugar just makes whipped cream better! Whipped cream is usually made with confectioners’ sugar, lending it a somewhat stiff texture. Since maple syrup is fluid, it makes a softer whipped cream, but with a superior flavor. I love adding maple whipped cream to Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, and any chess pie.
