This is a beautiful tart that makes a perfect centerpiece for dessert. Although it will look as if you’ve planned far ahead, this is just the dessert to make when you have leftover lemon curd or pastry cream on hand, as well as plenty of ripe fruit that’s ready to be used.

Ingredients

Lemon Curd ½ cup

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and set the rack in the middle position.
  2. Spread the lemon curd on top of the cooled tart crust. Smooth it with an offset spatula. Spread the pastry cream on top of the lemon curd and smooth it with an offset spatula.
