I can remember my first dinner at an Italian restaurant. The first thing I tried was the bread they brought to the table, which was simply “garlic and herb bread.” Wow! What a wonderful flavor. I thought bread up until that point was for sandwiches or toasted with honey, jelly, and peanut butter. And that’s how this recipe comes into play.
