  • 1 pound yellow wax beans
  • 1 gallon water
  • ½

Method

Wax Beans

Rinse yellow wax beans in cold water. Remove and discard stems. Bring water and kosher salt to a full rolling boil in a large pot. Place the beans into the boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain the yellow wax beans from the hot water. Immediately plunge the beans into a large bowl of ice water. After beans have cooled, strain and set aside.
