Parāthā is another common homemade flatbread. This recipe begins the same way as Rotli; the key difference is that it’s cooked with oil, which makes it slightly chewier. This recipe can produce two different versions, one simple and one more layered and flaky. The technique for the flaky one is similar to a laminated pastry dough.
