Rotli (a Gujarāti word), also known in other Indian languages as roti, chapāti, and phulkā, is probably the most widely made Indian flatbread. It begins with whole wheat flour (see Note 1). Rotli are characteristically thin, soft, and pliable so that they may be used to scoop up vegetable dishes such as Rasāvāla Baby Potatoes and Flāvar Vatānā Nu Shāk. This is a daily bread, best ma
