  • 1 quart (4 cups) water
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Method

  1. In a pot, bring to a boil sweet potatoes in water and salt included in A. Cover, and boil at moderate heat for 30 minutes.
  2. Drain, peel, and cut sweet potatoes into ¼-inch slices.
  3. Set slices in a frying pan. Add ingredients included in B, mix, and cook over high heat until it reaches consistency of light syrup
