  • 2 cups water
  • teaspoons salt

Method

  1. Combine water and salt in a saucepan. Heat to boiling. Remove from heat. Add cornmeal and mix thoroughly.
  2. Cook over moderate heat until mixture separates from bottom and sides of pan.
  3. Remove from heat. Add grated cheese and mix well.
  4. Take mixture by teaspoonfuls and shape into balls. In the palm of the hands roll balls to ½-inc
