  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  1. Combine eggs and milk.
  2. Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder and add to the milk-egg mixture.
  3. Add sugar and shredded cheese and mix well.
  4. Drop batter by spoonfuls in fat, heated to 365°F., until golden brown. Remove and drain on absorbent paper.
