  • pounds medium potatoes, peeled and halved
  • 2 quarts (8 cups) boiling wat

Method

  1. Place ingredients included in A in a deep kettle, cover and boil over moderate heat for 30 minutes. Drain.
  2. Cool potatoes and cut into thin slices.
  3. Put a piece of ham between each two slices of potatoes. Fasten with wooden picks.
