  • 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt

Method

  1. In a caldero or heavy kettle, melt butter slowly. Add garlic salt and rice and mix well, over moderate-high heat.
  2. Add boiling water, mix, and bring to a boil over moderatehigh heat. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 25 minutes.
  3. Uncover, turn rice over with a fork, from bottom to top, and co
