Ingredients

  • 1 ounce mabí bark
  • 1 ounce fresh ginger (after peeled, about 4 slices 1 inch long, 1 inch wide and ¼ inch thick)

Method

  1. Wash and drain mabí bark. Place in a large kettle (to avoid spilling in the process of free boiling).
  2. Wash ginger and peel with a vegetable peeler. Divide into pieces and crush well. Add to kettle.
  3. Add cinnamon stick and water included in A. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to moderate, cover and boil for 5 minutes</
