Method

  1. In a large saucepan, place tamarind seeds. Add water and mash seeds thoroughly with the hands, until seeds are almost free from pulp.
  2. Set over high heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Strain well, add sugar and mix.
  4. Set in refrigerator in a covered glass jar. Serve in highball glasses on the-rocks, or frappé in electric ble
