These are really easy to make and the sweet stickiness goes beautifully with the buckwheat flour of Senzala’s galettes. I usually make extra as I can’t resist them on porridge or muesli as well. If you are feeling extravagant, the caramelised apples go especially well with this smooth butterscotch sauce. If you have any left after a batch of galettes, it will keep well in the fridge in a jar.
