This recipe is used for the Apple Tarts, Home-made Pasties, and could also be used for a steak and kidney pie. It’s very simple to do, just place the steak and kidney filling from the pudding recipe in a pie-dish, cover with the puff pastry and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C/400°F/gas 6 for about 30 minutes until the pastry is golden and crisp.
