Filet Osvaldo Aranha is a typical dish served in botequims in Rio de Janeiro, named after Osvaldo Aranha (1894-1960), an important politician who accomplished many noble things in his career but is most remembered for this dish and for being a self-declared foodie. This dish is classically served with rice, potatoes and toasted manioc starch, but here I stick to the most exciting part of the dish: the steak with fried garlic. You can use other cuts of beef
