Coconut Cocktail

Batida de côco is a classic cocktail served at all the bars in Rio, and this version is inspired by the many cachaçarias around Paraty. A vendor at the store Armazém da Cachaça told me that he likes to mix vodka and cachaça, which is what I do here. The cocktail is lighter using this combination, though you can use only cachaça if you prefer. I generally like my cocktails on the lighter side, but you can feel free to use a stronger dose of either or both of the spirits than wh
