Pork in Beer

Teresópolis, a mountain city one hour north of Rio, has a new attraction: Vila St Gallen, an artisanal brewery and restaurant specialising in German beer and food. In Rio beer has always been associated with a toast - a reward for a finished project, the gorgeous beaches of Rio or simply the celebration of life. There is plenty to celebrate with a beer in a glass. But after a visit to Vila St Gallen, I began to appreciate the potential of using beer as an ingredient.
