Meat Sauce

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, peeled, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery


To prepare the meat sauce

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over a medium to high heat. Add the onion, celery, garlic, carrot and cinnamon. Cook for approximately 5 minutes. Add the lamb mince and sauté until brown.

Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato puree, mint and red wine and cook over a medium heat for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to
