We have this available every day at Ripe and it is a favourite of our many dedicated locals. We even have a customer who gets it posted to him regularly in Paris. Served with fruit salad and your favourite yoghurt, you’re guaranteed a good start to the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg quick cook oats
  • 180 g long thread coconut
  • 180 g

Method

Preheat oven to 160°C.

In a large bowl mix the oats, coconut, sesame seeds, bran, wheat germ and nuts. In another bowl combine the honey and oil. Pour over the dry ingredients and stir until coated. Spread the mixture onto a large oven roasting tray and place in the oven.
