  • 2 ounces bitter chocolate
  • ½ pint water
  • ½ pound</


Combine chocolate with water; heat, and when smooth, add combined sugar, cornflour and salt; cook, stirring continually, until sugar is dissolved and sauce is thick. Allow to boil for 3 minutes, then add butter and cognac. Stir and remove from heat. Add finely grated orange rind.
