  • 2 pounds each lean beef and pork
  • 1 Spanish onion, quartered
  • ¼ pound</


Put beef, pork and quartered onion through mincer twice; mix well with fresh breadcrumbs which you have moistened with a little milk. Then add canned tomatoes, well-beaten eggs, crumbled bay leaves, and salt, freshly ground black pepper and thyme, to taste. Mix well.

Put mixture in a well-greased baking dish, or pat into a loaf shape on a greased baking sheet or oiled board.
