  • Spanish onions, chopped butter
  • 6 medium-sized


Sauté chopped onions in butter until transparent; add minced beef and sauté, stirring continuously, until brown. Stir in minced carrot, tomato concentrate and finely chopped herbs. Add beef stock, to cover; season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, or until meat is tender. Place meat mixture in a well-buttered deep oval pie dish.
