  • 1 egg, beaten

Remove skin from chicken breast and slice across grain into 1-inch-wide strips. Place chicken strips in a bowl; add beaten egg and finely chopped onion and garlic. Sprinkle with cornflour, soy sauce, sake and sugar, and salt, to taste, and mix well. Marinate chicken strips in this mixture for 10 to 15 minutes.
