Basic Boiled Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

Method

Cook beans in boiling salted water until tender-about 20 minutes. Drain; place in a heated serving dish. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Top with butter and finely chopped parsley.
