    • 1 Chinese bowl long-grain rice
    • 3 Chinese bowls cold water

    Method

    Wash rice under cold running water, rubbing grains between fingers. Rinse with cold water until water is clear. Drain. Put rice in a large saucepan. Add water and boil for 3 minutes. Drain off water; put rice in a steamer and steam over water for 30 minutes.
