Wash lettuce leaves well in a large quantity of water. They should be left whole, never cut. Drain well and dry thoroughly in a cloth or a salad basket so that there is no water on them to dilute the dressing.
To serve: pour French Dressing into salad bowl; arrange prepared lettuce leaves on top. Then at the table, give a final toss to the ingredients to ensure that every leaf is gliste
