Ingredients: add fresh green herbs-finely chopped chervil, basil, tarragon, chives or eau-de-cologne mint - to the dressing.; for crunch appeal, add diced celery, green pepper or fennel.; add other salad greens in season-cos lettuce, endive, chicory, batavia, young spinach leaves, watercress and French mâche (com salad).; add finely chopped garlic or shallots, or a combination of the two, to salad dressing.
