Oranges with Cream

    • 3 large oranges
    • ¼ pint fresh orange juice
    • sugar
    • ½


    Grate the rind of 1 orange and add to orange juice. Peel all the oranges and with a sharp knife cut off all the pith. Slice.

    Place orange slices in overlapping rows in a shallow rectangular dish. Sprinkle with orange juice, and sugar, to taste.

    Whip cream and add sugar, to taste; spoon over orange slices. Chill until ready to serve.
