  • 1 pound plain flour
  • 2 ounces castor sugar
  • 1 level tea

Method

Sieve flour, sugar, ginger and cinnamon into a warmed mixing bowl and rub in butter until the mixture is smooth and free from lumps. Make a well in the centre.
