  • 2 tart eating apples
  • 1 egg
  • 6 ounces sugar


Peel, core and slice apples. Beat egg lightly; add sugar and apple slices. Then combine flour, baking powder, salt, almond extract and chopped walnuts, and stir into apple mixture. Mix well. Pour into a well-buttered baking dish or soufflé dish and bake in a slow oven (325°F-M2) for 25
