Garnet Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Streusel

This recipe is from my first holiday cookbook, The Thanksgiving Table. It has been an all-time favorite since it was published, so forget about leftovers because there never are any. The children sneak back for seconds, and some adults sneak back for thirds. It’s that good. My husband, the dishwasher in the family, can be found scraping leftover caramelized, crusty bits of streusel from the pan before he puts it in the sink to soak.
