Crisp and hot from the deep fryer, these pink shrimp toasts make a spectacular appetizer. They can be assembled several hours ahead, arranged on a baking sheet, and kept tightly covered in the refrigerator until you are ready to deep-fry. Although you can skip the garnish of black sesame seeds, they add a dramatic touch. The shrimp mixture retains a lot of heat right out of the oil, so let the toasts cool for a few minutes before serving.
