  • About

Warm from the oven and slathered with butter, Julekake is a holiday tradition in many households. Fresh ground cardamom reflects Scandinavian roots. You can use any variety of candied or dried fruits, but candied citron and raisins are traditional. Use candied green and red cherries that are available in supermarkets around the holidays to add colorful decorations to the loaves, or simply dust generously with confectioners’ sugar.
