Ingredients: pepper; 1 tsp horseradish sauce; squeeze of lemon juice; 2 small gherkins; 1 shallot, chopped; 2 tbsp capers; 200 g mayonnaise; ½ tsp English mustard

Tartare sauce is just a great accompaniment for any fried fish. We put it in our fish finger sandwich and it’s delicious used in place of lemon mayo and pesto in our haddock wrap.

Ingredients

200 g mayonnaise
2 small gherkins
1 shallot, chopped

Sauce
Gluten-free
Vegetarian

Method

Put all your ingredients in a food processor and whizz until it’s the consistency you like (we like it a bit chunky). Taste and add extra of anything you like to suit your taste buds.
