Za’atar is a Middle Eastern seasoning I turn to often to finish off a bowl of freshly ground hummus, season roasted vegetables or grilled skewers of meat, or add to hot ghee then drizzle over a bowl of steaming rice.
Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Stir together and transfer to an airtight container. Store, covered, in a cool, dark place for up to 4 months.
