These cookies are served to children all around the country since they are very small. They are simple to make but the tricks are to use clarified butter and to beat them for a very short time after adding the flour.

Ingredients

  • ½ pound clarified butter
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar, plus extra garnishing (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In the bowl of a mixer place the butter and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Add ½ cup of the powdered sugar and vanilla and con
