  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

Method

Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the garlic, and before it begins to brown, add the tomato puree, and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to the boil, add the calamari, lower the heat, and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes. Serve hot with crusty bread or over cooked linguine.
