  • 4 seedless oranges, unpeeled
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¼ cup brandy


Place the unpeeled oranges in a pot, and cover with cold water, bring to the boil and cook for 2 minutes. Pour off the hot water, fill with cold water, and repeat the process 2 more times to take away the bitterness of the oranges. Take the oranges out of the water, cool, and cut into thick slices reserving the first and the last slice of each orange to make candied orange peel by slicing thinl
