Method

Cucumbers are easier to digest if they have been peeled and salted before being used in salads.

Peel the cucumbers and cut them into slices. Place them on a large plate, salt, then turn the pieces over and salt again. Leave the cucumbers in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before making the salad.
