This “salad” hardly needs a recipe, but there is something so quintessentially Swiss about it, and not just because of the cervelat. The main ingredients–sausage and hard cheese–can be found in abundance in most Swiss refrigerators.

  • 4 sausages (about 600 g/lbs), peeled and cut into half moons

Method

Salad

Mix the sausage, cheese, tomatoes, radishes, and herbs in a bowl.

Dressing

Whisk everything together in a large measuring cup or bowl. Alternatively, you can measure everything into a jar, then close the lid and shake well.

Pour over the salad, toss and serve.
