Typically eaten for dinner, this easy, sliced pancake from central Switzerland also makes an excellent breakfast with fruit or even maple syrup. You may know its Alpine relatives–the similar Tatsch from Graubünden, as well as Kaiserschmarrn from Austria.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. In a large measuring cup, whisk together the milk, cream and eggs, then whisk into the flour mixture. Cover and let rest for about 30 minutes.
In a large frying pan, heat 1 tbsp of the butter. Give the batter a whisk to loosen it up, then pour half into the frying pan. Let cook over medium heat for about 3–5 minutes or until the liquid
